The Scarlets are pleased to announce two pre-season fixtures ahead of the new 2013-14 domestic season.

Wales Under 20's Head Coach, and Scarlets Forwards Coach, Danny Wilson has named an additional three players who will travel to France next week for the forthcoming Junior World Cup.

Llanelli author and Scarlets fan Alun Gibbard was at Lord's Cricket ground this week for the British Sports Book Awards 2013 as his book on the famous 1972 Llanelli victory against New Zealand, Who Beat the All Blacks? was short listed for the Award.

The Urdd National Eisteddfod is one of Europe's largest cultural youth festivals and in 2013 it will be held in Pembrokeshire from 27 May to 1 June and the Scarlets will be joining in the festivities.
