All students 18+ showing their NUS cards or similar student ID will be able to get into the ground on the cheapest ticket - just £10, with children at £5 a ticket and under-8s going free.
Scarlets staff have been out and about in the region this week visiting universities and colleges with the Scarlets student special offer and have been given a warm reception. They have already visited Pembrokeshire College, Ysgol Gyfun y Strade, Lampeter Comprehensive School and Ammanford College.
Kicking off at 7.05pm next Friday December 4th at Parc y Scarlets, the Edinburgh game will have some added colour with the addition of hot tubs inside the stadium and fairground rides in the main stadium exterior.
The popular Scarlets Supporters Village will be open pre-match with all the usual activities including mini rugby, player appearances, hog roast, music and interviews, adults bar and family beer garden.
The region is running a competition for some lucky supporters to enjoy the game from the sidelines at Parc y Scarlets inside a state of the art hot tub.
Scarlets Commercial Director, Rupert Moon said: "We are looking to bring in new audiences and supporters this season as well as re-connecting with our loyal, dedicated supporters - it's all about being one big Scarlets family.
"So it's important that we try new things and look to capture the imagination of new Scarlets supporters as well as our current fan base. The hot tubs are without doubt an innovation in UK rugby - although they have been used successfully in cricket, baseball and other sports - so we think why not rugby! It will certainly warm-up a winter evening fixture for our lucky winners!
"We don't think it's ever been done before in the UK but it's something that attracts interest and our competition to win a place in the hot tub is already getting quite a lot of attention."
The Scarlets have run the competition on the region's Facebook page and through promotional flyers and word is spreading. Radio phone-in competitions will start soon.
Rupert Moon added: "Our Scarlets support base needs to grow and the more people we can connect with the better. We have said from the start of the season, that we want to improve the match day experience for everyone and to bring this stadium to life at every Scarlets home game.
"We've had tremendous support so far this season, which really makes a difference to our players and we are hoping that next week will be the start of great festive atmosphere at Parc y Scarlets to kick off what is a very big December for our rugby region."
