Scarlets young wing sensation George North said: "I'm currently training with the Welsh boys at the Vale and it's always nice to come back to the region and meet some of our supporters. There are so many young people here this evening and it just proves that grass roots rugby is really important and has a big influence."
Scarlets Community Office Justin Lloyd said: "Ken presented two of the Pontyberem with their Under 16s Welsh caps as well as presenting the trophies and hoodies for all the hard work that has been put in by all the children throughout the season.
"It's always nice to be able to come along to these events and see the work that goes on in our communities. We wish Pontyberem RFC all the very best for the forthcoming season."
