Dafydd Iwan has been at the forefront of Welsh contemporary folk music for over 4 decades and this summer he'll be performing with his band for the very first time at Parc y Scarlets.
We are also pleased to announce that one of Wales' most promising young bands share a stage with the much-loved singer.
Yr Angen won the Radio Cymru C2 and Mentrau Iaith Battle of the Bands competition 2010 and since then have gone on to play in all manner of places and have a very busy summer ahead of them.
The band have won critical acclaim: DJ Ian Cottrell described their song 'Nawr Mae Drosto' as a "Huge radio hit...huge stadium hit!"
Bethan Elfyn, radio and television presenter added: "They are a really exciting band for the Welsh scene and I'd be more than happy to offer them a session on my show."
If you'd like to see the band alongside Dafydd Iwan a'r Band please contact 01554 783910 for tickets - £15 per person to include a one course hot fork buffet.
