The school's current performance and prospects for improvement were both judged to be excellent during the inspectors' visit in April.
All ten judgements were graded excellent with high profile given to the clear, strategic leadership of the head teacher and governors.
Strategies for raising pupils' attainment were judged to be very effective with pupils making very good progress and reaching their potential. Inspectors were also impressed by the "exceptional range of learning experiences throughout the school" and the very good attention that is given to local and national priorities.
Head teacher Miss Helen Lester commented: "I am absolutely thrilled with the outcomes. It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the team we have in Saundersfoot School.
"Our school motto is "Everybody wins with teamwork" and the inclusive ethos that this promotes has been pivotal to our success.
"My sincere thanks go to the parents, volunteers, governors, staff and of course our wonderful pupils who have worked so hard to make Saundersfoot such a special place to be."
