Scarlets players helped community development officers to hand out a specials schools package of squad posters, Scarlets flags and ticket vouchers.

Mark Jones, Dafydd Jones, Rhys Thomas, Tavis Knoyle, Vernon Cooper, Aaron Shingler and Ben Morgan dropped in to Halfway school to deliver team posters and a flag for the school as part of the Region’s Show Your True Colour Campaign.

The players visited each class within the school, meeting staff and taking time to talk to the pupils and sign posters.

Schools are being asked to ‘Show their True Colour’ by flying the Scarlets Flag outside their school or displaying it in reception. Schools that fly the Scarlets flag are being asked to send their photos to the Scarlets to be entered into a competition with the chance to win exclusive prizes like free tickets for schools, skills sessions and player visits!

Children who receive posters are also asked to show their support and display the squad poster in their windows at home for the chance to win special prizes.

The Community Officers and players will be busy visiting schools across the county in the coming weeks to distribute the posters and flags, to give every school the opportunity to ‘Show Their True Colour’ and the chance to win special Scarlets prizes!
