The visit was for the first ever 'Raceday with the Scarlets' which will hopefully become an annual event for rugby and racing supporters alike to enjoy.
A skills and rugby training session was held by the Scarlets Community Department in the morning, with children from Ysgol Trimsaran, Ysgol Gymraeg Carwe, Ysgol y Castell and Ysgol Gymraeg Gwenllian enjoying the activities that had been organised for them.
The children thoroughly enjoyed the skills sessions and then had the opportunity to compete against each other on the Scarlets inflatables.
Before returning for an afternoon of fun in the classroom the children from four local primary schools were joined by some of the Scarlets squad members for a signing and picture session. Some of the players present were Mark Jones, Dafydd Jones, Ken Owens, Morgan Stoddart, Ben Morgan, Aaron Shingler and Jamie Corsi.
The Scarlets squad went on to enjoy an afternoon of racing and meeting the supporters.
