Scarlets
Emotions were running high on an evening to remember as all those who have been part of the world of Scarlets rugby, paid tribute to bid a fond farewell to the legendary Stradey Park.
Those who were part the closing event in October will never forget the atmosphere and will be proud to say they witnessed such a magnificent send-off, the likes of which has never been seen before in the world of rugby.
The ground was packed with people, tradition and passion as the Scarlets team recorded a fitting 27 - 0 victory against Bristol on a night which was about remembering and celebrating all that the famous old ground had played host to over so many decades.
Regan King made the first try for Morgan Stoddart, with two more from Simon Easterby, five Stephen Jones' goals and ex-Bristol centre Rob Higgitt taking the honour of scoring the last ever try at the ground.
Years of history, passion, euphoria and sometimes heartbreak were poured into one evening on the field with supporters chanting the club's battle hymn Sospan Fach and not a dry eye in the house.
The old but mighty and much loved Stradey Park rightly captured the UK's news and sporting headlines on its last rugby day with a mass of national and regional newspaper writers, photographers and broadcasters all getting bound up and inspired by in an evening to remember.
