A fitting and inspiring end of era...
The last night at Stradey Park was given the title ‘Recognise, Respect and Remember’ / ‘Cydnabod, Parchu a Chofio’, and started pre-match with an ‘Olympic style’ parade of the region’s living captains partnered with young players from across the Scarlets region.
Gareth Jenkins honoured at Stradey Park’s last game
He was part of the fabric of Stradey Park both as a player and a coach since he first played for Llanelli against Harlequins away on 20th September 1969, so it was a fitting tribute to honour his contribution on such an important evening in the Scarlets history.
