Wales will face England in the opening match on Saturday at Rugby Capitolina (4pm), Italy at the Stadio Tre Fontane on Tuesday 6th (2.30pm) and France on Friday 9th at Italy's RBS 6 Nations venue, the Stadio Flamino (2.30pm).
The Scarlets have a strong contingent within the squad including the U16 Wales team captain, Sion Bennett from Narbeth.
Scarlets Academy Manager Kevin George said: “It is great for us to see so many of our young players get such an opportunity especially after such a successful season for them.
“It is the first taste of international rugby in the Welsh Schools U16 set-up and this will test their abilities on a higher level and will be a fantastic experience for them to play in this tournament out in Italy. It also underpins the importance and growing success of the Scarlets Academy system and supports the ethos of the region of supporting and developing young local talent.
“We’d like to wish them all the very best in the tournament and particularly like to congratulate Sion Bennett on receiving the Wales Schools Under 16’s captain’s role which is well-deserved.”
