At the end of their session Scarlets stars Lou Reed, Dom Day, new signing Gavin Quinnell and Ben Morgan came along to meet the camp participants, give out Scarlets goody bags, sign their autographs and pose for photographs.
Children in years 3-6 are currently taking part in the second day of their two day camp. Over 80 children enjoyed rugby skills yesterday and are learning about ball handling skills, team work and coordination today.
As their day drew to a close yesterday they had an opportunity to meet some of the Scarlets players including All Black Regend King, Iestyn Thomas, Andy Fenby, Johnathan Edwards, Gareth Maule, Welsh internationals Dafydd Jones and Morgan Stoddart, Australian legend David Lyons, Emyr Phillips and George North.
The Scarlets will be holding a mini camp at Haverfordwest Rugby Club on Tuesday 17th August between 5 and 7pm.
The skills session is open to all children scholl age year 3 - 6 and is a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills, work as a team, meet new friends and have a lot of fun!
As well as the fun of the skills session all participants will have an opportunity to meet some of the Scarlets stars including Welsh internationals Tavis Knoyle, Stephen Jones and Matthew Rees.
