Key responsibilities, tasks and activities:
• To support the Regional Development Manager to produce a rugby development plan for the Region and participation programme to promote the game at all levels in clubs and identified schools.
• To support and develop the regional talent identification scheme ensuring the most talented players are identified and supported.
• To liaise with Dragon Sport /5 x 60 officers in the area to create sustainable rugby programmes within schools and help in establishing club links at nominated age groups.
• To establish and sustain playing opportunities' for Women and Girls at Regional level.
• To help Market and promote the game within the Area. To help seek sponsorships
• To attend relevant area Meetings
• Work with the Scarlets region and WRU commercial, marketing departments to ensure that commercial obligations are met.
• Provide relative information to the Scarlets and WRU website.
