The new high profile partnership builds on links between the Scarlets and Lloyd & Gravell that have forged over the past three seasons including the company's assistance in helping support rising no8 talent Ben Morgan in his Scarlets rugby career.
Last season the company offered the talented new prospect Morgan an apprenticeship, which allowed him to finish his professional NVQ plumbing qualifications as well as training with the Scarlets first team squad on a development contract.
Kevin Gravell, one of the founding directors of Lloyd & Gravell said: "Our partnership with the Scarlets is very important for us and we want to see this great rugby region go from strength-to-strength.
"The Scarlets are a vital part of our community, the players provide an inspiration to so many and as a locally-based company we want to give something back to this close-knit area."
Paul Lloyd, Director said: "We have huge respect for everything the Scarlets are doing to invest in great young talent from this area including the community work they do within our region with a variety of age-groups. The Scarlets values and pride in their communities mirror ours - particularly the belief in developing young people to their best potential.
"Supporting the Scarlets is a fantastic way to show our commitment to this area and the young people within it. We work closely with Coleg Sir Gar to nurture excellent skills amongst our apprentices and our backing of Ben Morgan last season is a great example of how rugby and business can work together to create real opportunities for talented individuals."
Directors Kevin Gravell and Paul Lloyd have been Scarlets supporters for many years, and as dedicated rugby fans say they are delighted to have stepped-up their backing of the region this season.
Kevin Gravell said: "We believe in the way that the spirit of rugby can reach so many and we are just delighted that we are in position to be able to offer our support on a larger scale now."
Rupert Moon, Scarlets Commercial Director said: "Lloyd & Gravell are a thriving local business that we are proud to be associated with. The company has its roots firmly fixed in our region and works closely with another of our partners Coleg Sir Gar, in helping support young people and providing real opportunities for their future careers and professional development. We are keen to work with partners that share our goal to be at the heart of our communities and Lloyd & Gravell are shining example of that."
