Scarlets travelled to Llandarcy in confident mood looking to secure a vital win which would see them through to the WRU Age Grade Championship final and keep their hopes of retaining the cup alive.
The visitor's were unlucky however to miss out on reaching another regional final, despite the players giving it their best effort, it was the Ospreys who took their chances and outscored the Scarlets two tries to one.
The young Scarlets have played 11 competitive games, won eight and lost three.
