Rhys Lawrence joined the Scarlets in 2009 and is learning his trade with Llanelli RFC. As a hooker Lawrence has Scarlets’ 2010-11 captain, Welsh international and British Lion Matthew Rees to guide him aswell as the ever popular Ken Owens.
Lawrence was born in Hillingdon and raised in Swansea. He first played rugby for Dunvant under 13’s.
He was educated at Olchfa Comprehensive School, Swansea before moving on to study at Swansea University.
